What is Reiki?
Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that promotes healing all aspects of a person – mind, body, emotions and spirit – by helping to balance the energy in a body.
Everything is energy – including our bodies, thoughts and emotions. At our core, we are actually vibrating in unique electromagnetic waves. All physical health problems and emotional disturbances start on an energetic level with stressors that block this flow of energy. The majority of people are experiencing major stressors in life due to a demanding, hectic lifestyle. This causes disruptions and imbalances in the body’s energy which can lead to physical problems such as body pain, insomnia, or mood fluctuations.
